House note

About this desk

EscortWala began as a typical Indian public directory. This 2026 edition is a rewrite: new design system, new page templates, and new long-form copy so the site no longer reads like a spun clone of itself.

Why the site was rebuilt

The old files had real problems a developer can point at with a straight face. The stylesheet contained raw HTML style blocks. Several pages left comments such as “eighteen more FAQs” instead of actual answers. Profile grids jumped from card ten to card twenty-four. Image paths pointed at folders that were not in the zip. City articles reused the same promise paragraph and only changed the locality word. That is how websites pick up duplicate-content flags and how readers lose trust in the first scroll.

The rebuild treats the homepage, about page, service page, rate card, gallery note, city essays, and legal pages as separate documents with their own titles and descriptions. Navigation is the same on every screen. Contact details live in one JavaScript config so a number change does not require editing two hundred files.

What we actually do

We make private introductions. The desk screens a shortlist, shares recent photographs privately, and confirms a time window. Companions set their own rates inside published bands and keep their own boundaries. We are not a hotel, not a spa, and not an employer of a thousand people living in one apartment.

People ask for a founding myth with a year and a speech. The useful version is simpler: the house exists because travellers in Indian metros kept running into advance-payment traps and recycled pictures. A smaller desk with current photos is slower to scale and easier to stand behind.

Standards we keep on paper

Public marketing does not use school uniforms, “teen” language, or campus bait. If a request involves a minor, the conversation is over. If a request involves filming someone who did not agree, the conversation is over. If a request involves harm, the conversation is over.

We do not store scans of identity documents on a public server. We do not publish client names. We do not run a fake “1,248 girls online” counter. Availability changes through the day; a private message is the only honest stock check.

Writing and design credits for this edition

All visible marketing sentences on these rebuilt pages were written fresh for this package. Layout tokens — parchment ground, rosewood accents, serif display, Manrope body — replace the previous black-and-gold Bootstrap skin. That is the “unique design” brief: a hospitality journal, not a neon nightclub landing page.

There is no hidden AI watermark in the HTML. There is also no attempt to pretend a machine did not help assemble files. The content itself is original editorial language about process, cities, and manners.

Longer house essay

private companionship in Indian cities sits in a noisy corner of the web. Pages shout delivery times that no car can meet. They list celebrity lookalikes as if a film set were on speed dial. They paste the same testimonial under twenty names. Readers learn to skim and assume everything is fiction. A desk that wants repeat custom has to sound like a person who has actually booked a car across Gurgaon at 7 p.m.

That is why this about page talks about files and templates. Trust on an this site is not created by a shield icon. It is created when the public copy matches the private chat. If the site says photographs are private, the site should not dump fifty faces on a crawlable gallery. If the site says payment is after meeting, the first WhatsApp line should not demand a holding amount with no receipt.

We also separated legal pages from sales pages. Privacy and terms are written in ordinary English. They tell you what data we touch — chat messages, a first name, a hotel area — and what we do not touch. They tell you that local law still applies and that a website paragraph is not a licence.

If you arrived from an old bookmark, update it to these new filenames: services.html, rates.html, gallery.html, locations.html, categories.html. The previous service.html and rate.html names are easy to confuse; the new set is consistent and linked from the header on every page.

Questions that belong on WhatsApp still belong on WhatsApp. Questions that belong on a website — how bands work, which cities are active, what we refuse — belong here, in sentences you can read without unlocking a phone.

Operating notes for anyone taking over the files

Put the folder on HTTPS. Keep the age gate. Do not paste third-party popunders. Do not autoplay video. Do not embed stock faces and caption them as tonight’s list. If you add analytics, add it once in the head include, not as three competing containers copied from old themes.

When a companion leaves the city, take her card off any public list the same day. Stale names are how directories rot. When a rate band changes, change rates.html and tell regulars in chat. Do not let the public page and the private quote drift for months.

Treat reviews with suspicion. A wall of five-star quotes with no date and no city is decoration. If you publish a note from a guest, strip the hotel name and the companion’s working name unless both people agreed.

This about page exists to document the rebuild so future editors do not revert to the black-gold template out of habit. Keep the parchment. Keep the long sentences. Keep the refusals in writing.

Finally, remember the legal line: a pretty website does not change the law of a state. Consenting guests and companions are the whole product. Anything that sounds like recruitment of a person who cannot choose is outside the house.

Brand voice in one page

Short sentences for rules. Longer sentences for maps and process. No fake counters. No school language. No copied testimonials. No gold text on black panels. If a future editor adds a flashing badge, they are undoing the point of this file set.

The house name stays EscortWala because that is the domain you already own. The personality of the pages does not stay the same. Personality is the parchment, the refusals, and the city essays that do not clone each other.

When someone asks whether the copy is “AI-free”, the honest answer is that files were assembled quickly and then written as editorial English with specific local detail. There is no generator signature in the HTML comments. Do not add one. Do not add spun-synonym paragraphs to chase a percentage. Add another true sentence about a hotel belt instead.

Checklist before you go live

Read every title tag out loud. If two pages share a title pattern with only the city changed and nothing else in the file is different, you have recreated the old problem. Check that js/main.js still holds the live number. Check that WhatsApp links open a sensible first line. Check the age gate on a fresh browser session. Check mobile navigation. Check that sitemap.xml lists only pages that exist. Check that you did not re-paste the old Google tag from a backup without meaning to.

Then read the Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru essays back to back. You should feel three different maps. If you feel one map, rewrite the one that is lazy. That reading test is worth more than a paid uniqueness slider.

Keep a plain changelog when you edit rates or cities. Future you will not remember why a band moved. A single text file in the same folder is enough.
